But I'm also thankful for it on a daily basis. There are so many health problems that we can easily fix or manage with modern medicine that would have killed someone years ago. Or at least made quality of life pretty low. I'm still waiting for the cure for Alzheimer's as well as the prevention but I think that researchers will get there eventually.

Thanksgiving post 16
Today I am thankful for modern medicine. I woke up with a sore throat that was pretty bad, but I can take things to give me relief as well as fight it. So Airborne, ibuprofen and sleep it is...
But I'm also thankful for it on a daily basis. There are so many health problems that we can easily fix or manage with modern medicine that would have killed someone years ago. Or at least made quality of life pretty low. I'm still waiting for the cure for Alzheimer's as well as the prevention but I think that researchers will get there eventually.
